Favorites and Projects Import

The first time you run Font Runner 3.1, it will check for Font Runner Pro favorites and projects.  Font projects will be automatically imported into Font Runner 3.1, however, Font Runner Pro favorites may not. 

If favorites from both Font Runner and Font Runner Pro are found, you will be prompted to overwrite them with your favorites from Font Runner Pro.  This way, you have the option of deciding which set of favorites you want to keep.

New Features

Includes All Features from Font Runner Pro

Font Runner Pro has been merged into Font Runner.  All features including the extra search capabilities, font projects, the font map and the enhanced drag-and-drop functionality are present.

Location Bar

A combo box that appears just under the main toolbar by default.  It displays the current location and provides quick access to a list of most recently visited locations.

New Drop Option

Added a preference to open a file or folder dropped on the font list rather than copy/move it to the current location.

Improvements

Favorites and Projects can be searched

Favorite folders and font projects can be selected directly in the search windows.

Customizations for Toolbar Area

Toolbar bands can be moved, hidden and shown.  The toolbar area itself can be locked.

System Folder Improvements

Removed ability to make changes to the system font folder using Font Runner Pro.  (Installs are still supported)  A new bar appears above the font list when viewing the system fonts folder that provides access to Windows Explorer to remove fonts.

Font Map

The characters in the font map now appear in a grid.

Fixes

Fixed potential crash if options are changed before font map is initially shown.

Fixed problems that may occur when selecting the last item on the font list.

Fixed printing problems when font list is only one page.

Fixes possible crash that can occur as a result of searching.

Fixes numerous minor issues.
